LGSDC Basic Info

Lakeville Girl Scout Day Camp is more than just a day camp. This is a leadership development program. We expect our Program Aids to be responsible for aiding in their own leadership development journey.

We have 3 different commitment levels that PAs can choose from:

• High Commitment: attend every training (unless an emergency arises) and enrichment, work on skills outside of training, work with other PAs and your unit outside of trainings, innovate, and be proactive

• Moderate Commitment: attend 90% of trainings (unless an emergency arises) and enrichment, work on hard skills outside of trainings, meet with your unit outside of trainings if applicable

• Low Commitment: attend 80% of trainings (unless an emergency arises) and enrichment

We understand that our PAs have more than just this going on and we do our best to be flexible. However due to the nature of this program PAs who have chosen Moderate or Low commitment will not be eligible to be Mentors and PAs who have chosen Low commitment are not eligible to be apart of the leadership team (Senior PA or Patrol Leader).
